UCAM campus in Bangalore is a facility which manufacturesrotary tables and hence uses a lot of energy in both its production and maintenance. By giving including landscaping and water features in the design we were able to somewhat change the overall feel of the architectural proposal. Within the principles of architecture itself we were able to bring light and ventilation into the structure by analysing sun and wind on the site. In order to offset the lighting required we used solar panels on the southern facade which help to power the facility and outdoor lighting.
